There are 28 headstones in this cemetery. Robert Flints, other son Cornelius, B: 1741 D: 1817. His son Isaac B:1768 D:1837, is also buried here. Robert 2nd., Adam, and John Flint are buried in the area, near Sprout Brook, and one in the western part of New York called Pike, Wyoming County, where I believe he is buried. There are 14 head stones that I could not get any markings. Robert the 2nd. had eight children. Adam had six children. Cornelius had eight children. John had ten children. Alexander had six children. Two of the sons lost their first wives, and re-married. As you can see between the five sons of Robert, there were 38 children. Robert the Pioneer, gave each of his sons a farm, with land. And to this day, the farms are there, and many Flints still live in the area. I have had people contact me from all over the United States asking about their ancestors, and what line they came from. I have found many missing Flints, and the lines they came from. I try to help anyone who is related to the Flints, as they did travel all across this country, and settled. I would love to have been at Robert Flint the Pioneers house, with his sons, and listen to all their stories of the many battles they fought in, and survived during the American Revolution, and Robert, the Pioneer stories of the French and Indian War that he was involved in. There are two items I found that I thought was special, one is a letter to Robert Flint from Sir William Johnson. It was dated July 23, 1756, he wanted Robert to provide provisions for 100 Delaware Indians from the Western Branch of the Susquehanna that were on their way to see Sir William, and he needed Robert to feed them at his house, and on the road. There is another story which is true, during the Cherry Valley Massacre on November 9th. 1778, one of Roberts son was at that fort during the attack, it was here that his wife gave birth to one of his children. I can imagine being attacked, and hearing the screams, along with musket fire, a woman would definitely go into labor. There are many stories which I have entwined into my first book, 'The Life and Times of RobertFlint the Pioneer.'
