INTRODUCTION

Time must never forget how our great country was founded, or the people of those times, for they are the core of us all.

The reason for my web-site is to bring you articles, pictures, and my books to the people who have a passion for this time in our history. I want everyone who comes to my site to read, and remember how this Great country was founded, and to see, and read what America is truly about.
I have given many of my books to libraries hoping the children will become interested in this period of history. The way the world is today, and what is happening in our own country, I sometimes feel we have lost the true meaning of freedom, and what our ancestors had to go through to build Americas foundation. I want the next generation to read, and learn about our founding fathers, and the Bill of Rights, and our Constitution in depth, and not five pages in the schools history books. There is more to learn then dates, a few famous people, and a rough paragraph telling about the 4th. of July.
My goal is ignite a passion in the younger generation, and maybe they will want to read more about this time in our history. If I can get one child to become interested, then I will be very pleased.

Indians & Tories & Militia

"Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American.....The unlimited power of the sword is not the hands of either the federal or state governments, but where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people."
Quote from The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb.20, 1788

British Soldier

In the many pages that will follow, I'll try to show you the pictures I have taken on my book signing tours along the Mohawk River of the great men, and women who are as passionate as I am for this time in our history, and who will go week after week to participate in the many re-inactments, as well as the tradesmen selling, and showing their fine colonial wares.
These hard working people are what made this country, and I hope they never fade into history.
