Wake Up America
Wow! Been a while since I was here writing my feelings, and I'm sorry to be this late. As you all know, nothing is getting better here in the good ole USA. Obama is in another world, and has no damn idea what we, the people are going through, and how we are just trying to keep our heads above water. I know many have now realized that this sweet talking socialist is just that! The man is out of touch, and his czars are his backbone!
The Republicans are coming after him, and from Virginia, New Jersey, and now Mass, have finally woke up, and the people are now joining ranks to put these socialist from taking over the gov't. The fight is just beginning just as it did at Concord, and Lexington. The American Militia are starting to form their lines, and we are pissed, and we will fight to the end for our freedom, and not government controlled. Un-employment is through the ceiling, and each day more companies are cutting jobs. Companies, and small business will not hire new people because this Washington clowns want us, the people to become sheep in the pasture, and to control our lives, and wants us to be under their dirty fingers. Where else in this world is this...........remember Russia...China and even Hitlers Germany. The same beginning there is what we are seeing here now! Health Care is just the beginning, and the control of banks he bailed out, and auto workers unions and whatever the hell they can bite their teeth in will be under government control.
China has control over billions of dollars they have given us, but we still buy their lead toys, cribs that are deadly and the list is long. I have always said to stop all trading with China, open our abandoned factories, and build it here, but keep out the unions.
Obama and his cronies like Gore have egg on their face now since the REAL truth has come out on global warming. Green jobs are a joke, and who in hell can afford putting a $10-$20,000. in solar in their homes? Damn few! Lies, and more lies are the way of this administration, and Biden is a joke, and so out of touch with Main Street America.
I could write a book about what is happening in our Great country, and I must say, I cannot watch the News very long, or I would take my black powder rifle and blow the HD TV away! I read, and study the news, and find myself laughing, or raging mad as hell watching what is happening on the hill in DC. I just hope and pray that November elections will put a new twist on these damn politicians, and re-place many who are in the same circus tent as Obama. He was always a Marxist in Chicago, and at college, and now has the power and our money to fulfill his dreams of government control. Fight, stay strong, and we will win!

Hard to believe X-mas is just a week away, and I haven't been writing here, but if I wrote my feelings about what this Great country is becoming, I would never get any sleep! I'm still pissed at the idiots running this country, and Health Care, and bail outs are making all of us mad as hell, and we must raise hell to stop this socialist takeover from the idiots in Washington. What a no brain president we have, and he has not a damn clue what we the Real people are going through all across America, and he will take, and take, and tax the last dollar out of us, and our children, and grand children will never see the bright light at the end of the tunnel. I am so glad I am 60, and not 20! There isn't three jobs here in Asheville, NC and the un-employment is 11% and climbing. Factories are closing, what few there were, and I have seen the crime go up. People are desperate, and I know living way out here in the boonies I have my pistols, and guns locked and loaded, and it is just a matter of time before the desperate ones venture down my dead end road. I will protect my home, and property just as my great grandfathers did back in 1754, qnd 1776 in upstate New York.
The local building supply store is hurting, and they are my dear friends who own it, and I told them the house building around here will be dead for three years, and they agree. Of course a box lumber company built one within one mile from their other store, and it has damn near killed them. I still buy from my close friends, and will until they close the doors for good. I'm sick of seeing all the small business's being ate up by the Big Box stores, and seeing these hard working families slowly fade away. This country was founded by people like them, that what has made us GREAT, and strong, now look at us, weak, broke, and the damn socialist in Washington are loving it!
I hope who ever voted for this spineless president are ashamed, and finally are realizing he is so far left, the liberals are even wondering about him, and his ways. I told you all before what is coming, well it is here, and it sure as hell will get worse.
I seen this coming for three years, and have changed my whole life to save my butt, and it is working. I have no fancy truck,or car, and a small comfortable house, and have cut enough firewood to last three years if the price of propane goes through the roof. Paid off the debt, and now can still live comfortable, and even go out to eat once a month!
I promise to keep writing more then I have been, and I hope each of you will start getting into the survival mode, as we all will be needing it in the next three hellish years ahead.

I haven't written in my Soap Box lately, and I am sorry. I'm just pissed off at what I see, and hear day in, and day out on this Government Control Health Plan. How much can this so-called President push down out throats before we start choking, and grasping for air. How dare him, and all the Czars thinking we Americans will sit on a log, and let this happen, don't they remember what the British tried to do to us some 233 years ago! I say speak loud, raise everyone you know how this government is trying to control our lives. What happened to freedom to voice our opinions, good, or bad. The Obama gang will play every trick they can muster to silence us. We cannot let this continue, we must unite and become one, and stand strong just as they did at Concord, and Lexington against the British.
Slowly the Washington thugs will be in every town meeting more then they are now. They have hired fakes to speak like a doctors, nurses, etc. to say they are for this Health Reform garbage. Watch out my friends, it is coming to the book 1984 again, and we must carry a big stick if we have too. Do not back down, do not silence your voice. Stand up and be counted for we must, and we will defend our rights, and if we have to go into the streets, then so be it, for I'll be there carrying our flag, and will face this socialist government who wants our freedom of speech, our rights!

A lot has happened with this country since I wrote last, and as expected it is worse, and getting worse. Obama's stimulus bill has gone down the sewer pertaining to the auto industry. All the billions of dollars gone, and for what? I knew damn well Chrysler, and GM would go bankrupt. The money should have never been given to the auto people, now your children, and grandchildren will be paying for this big mistake for years to come. But just think, the damn little tin boxes Fiat will build here, and many will be driving in this country will never stand up to our roads, or the way we drive, and the deaths from these cars will go sky high. I'm sick of the nightly news, CNN, MSNBC, and all of them, for they are controlled by Obama's followers who still think he is the messiah! Not one will have the balls to stand up and ask the REAL questions that so many of us want to hear. Unemployment at 9.4%, and rising, more lay offs, and stores, and small business's are closing their doors. All we hear about is his Green jobs! Well where in hell are they? Maybe he's talking about so many people growing their own gardens as I do who are trying to survive the rising cost of every damn thing we need! His so called extended hand shake to the middle east, he best be careful, or a desert swordsman may hack off his hand! He is so damn worried about being friends to all these radical nut jobs, and turns his back on the poor in this country, and all the hell many are going through right now, and for many months to come. Wake up America! Our once Great country is heading into a socialist country!

April will soon be behind us, and I hope you have your garden starting to show your early vegetable pushing up to the warming sun. I'm sure you have seen Obama receiving the radical book from the wacked out dictator a few days ago in South America! I felt like I was gut shot, and had to turn the television off before I became sick! How dare our President take this book which contains hate for America, and how he bashed our ex-President last year. Each day I see a socialist state trying to be forced down our throats, and the bad mouthing of our last Commander in Chief. This new President is starting to show his true colors just as I have predicted, and now America is beginning to see this, and you sure as hell are feeling it. Now what has me really upset is closing down Gitmo. Water boarding, etc. articles are now in the news, and even talk of going after the people who supported this. Wake up America! Wake up Obama, have you forgotten what these miserable bastards did to us! Let the Washington weasels who are wanting to close down Gitmo take these killers into their homes, give them a warm soft bed, and say I'm sorry for what we did to you. But they better sleep with one eye open, or your head will be severed like they did so many times before!
Bailouts, layoffs, closing of small plants are everyday news here in the mountains. Housing is the worse in fifty years, and so many are loosing everything, and the homeless shelters are full. Have you noticed the suicides are up, and entire families are being found dead? My God! I seen this coming, and it is just the beginning, and the end of many who have lost their jobs, and their once stable mind has snapped! Just once I would like to write good news here at my Soap Box, and write of 'happy days,' but I'am afraid it will be another year if then, when I can do that! All I can say it stay strong, stay healthy, and look at your love ones, and smile. This nightmare is far from over, but you are an American, and we Americans have withstood hell, and troubles before and survived. We will again one day walk out into the sunshine and smile, and say, "Life is good!"

Another week of terrible news for all of us as the bailouts have been sent, and the unemployment is now 8.1, and climbing as fast as the stock market falls. Stories after stories are blasting the airways, and the nightly news is damn depressing. Chapter 11 is common language around every city, and town, and stores are closing, or have a skeleton crew of sales people. Automobiles, merchandise sit on deserted parking lots, and overstocked shelves all across this once Great country.
I heard one white collar man who was making $70,000. a year is now moping floors, and cleaning urinals! He is one of thousands who have now been laid off, and his dreams shattered. I foresee suicides coming, and violence will spread like wild fire across this country. People are desperate, and only a small amount of people will be helped by mortgage bailouts, only for the ones who should have never bought their house in the first place. Now more people are cut, and what about their house payments? The cycle will begin for them, but you are on your own! Its a vicious damn cycle, and they will be worse off as the ones who bite off more then they could chew!
GM will file Chapter 11, and get ready retired union workers for one hell of a cut in your health, and retirement checks. So the bottom line is the bailouts sure as hell didn't help them, or AIG. I said this would never help, and I was right, so now we watch the news, and the list keeps growing, and growing.
I will build a raised bed for a vegetable garden this week, and I am always preparing for what is coming. I have cut, and filled my wood shed already, and doing all I can, and using my land the best that I can. I have been making my own bread, and stocking up on food. My Guinea birds I raise will keep me in fresh open range eggs, and I would never kill one to eat, for they kill all the ticks, bugs, and even snakes that come close to the house fron the rocky cliiffs that surround my property, and I sure as hell don't need a alarm system, for they will let you know of any strangers, as well as my two border collies if some one comes down my gravel road. Locked, and loaded, and will survive any damn thief who wants anything I have.
I foreseen this coming a few years ago, and have planned well, and still planning. I downside from a 4000 square foot house with $5000. property taxes to a 1222 square foot house with 6 acres for $548. taxes a year. I have two wells, and a natural spring, and more wood to burn that would last me twenty years. No vehicle payments, and damn near debt free.
I have written over time to get ready, and I hope to hell you have. If you haven't you better start! I see this country going into a Great Depression, and well into next year. The time for talking is over my friends, it's time for action, just as my ancestors did back in the 1700's. I hope each of you will survive, and I hope this coming socialist government never comes, but it sure the hell is at our front porch now!

The stimulus bill is signed, and now every state, and everyone is standing in the long lines with their hands out, and waiting for a piece of the pie. I was against this, and still am! I'd rather see some of this underbrush burn to the ground, and only the strong trees survive. All these companies need to have a wild fire, and let the strong survive, and begin the growth cycle again. While walking through my woods, I come into thorn bushes and thick brush, and there standing and chocking for light, and room to grow, this small pine tree, and it is dyeing slowly from the ground up from the entangled brush. I see this pine tree as many business's that are being chocked, and cannot reach their growth. Many times I'll cut the brush, and thorn bushes away, and now maybe this pine tree may continue to grow strong, and tall, and sometimes I'll cut it down. I feel many business's should be cut down, and begin again. I also walk up my steep wooded hills, and see a 100 foot oak tree that is dead, and this should be cut down so new growth will see the light of the sun high overhead. Now this oak is like the auto industry, maybe they should be cut, and go under. The President, and Washington can give them billions of dollars, and it will not help one damn bit. You cannot save a dyeing oak once it begins to die. Many companies are not worth saving, and I feel bad for the workers in some of these companies, but not when they are making $80.00 an hour, with all the benefits, I don't! This idea of making jobs for millions will not happen, it is a damn pipe dream. Solar is too damn expensive for the normal family, and who in hell can buy a $40,000. automobile that is 'Green!' The only damn way America can get back on its feet, and make jobs is to quit bringing in foreign goods made in Asia, Mexico. My wife just bouth an $20.00 swiffer, made in Viet-Nam, and the damn pads come from Canada! Give me a damn break! Tell me Mr. President, and Washington, why the hell can't we open these closed plants, and retro fit machinery so we can build this plastic swiffer here, or anything we bring in? To hell with free trade, to hell with foreighn goods! This country use to build everything, and did a fine job, and everyone worked. I started a fire in my bedroom fireplace the other day, and even the damn box matches were from China! I was so pissed, I threw the whole box in the fire. Mr. President you're telling the American people we will make jobs! Start by making damn box matches here in the good ole USA! Hell, I'll give you my pine trees to create jobs for America. But no, it's easier to buy our lumber, and ship it to damn China, and pay some child $.50 a day, and we'll just ship the matches back to USA. Give me a damn break! If every American looked at what ever they are buying, then maybe America will wake the hell up, and start raising hell, the idiots in Washington may listen, but I doubt it. It has been going on too damn long, and now we are heading for a damn depression, mark my words! Wait until each state raises their gas tax, and tobacco tax, and whatever the hell they can raise, it will happen. But I almost forgot, Mr. President will be giving you an extra $13.00 in your check, but it will drop to $8.00 next January. My God, an extra 6-pack of beer for all of us! I'm disgusted, and pissed, and all our hands are tied, and we are being led up the wooden steps to the hangmans noose. So enjoy paying through your teeth for the next 10 years at least for this stimulus bill, that will save America! Yeah right!

A NEW YEAR, SAME OLD TROUBLE AND MORE
So here we are into a New Year, and I'm hoping this year will be much better for all of us. But watching the news I see nothing has changed, and the middle east is ready for another war. Jobs are gone for thousands of people, and the buy outs are under way. The worst mistake our country has done since Carter. It didn't work then, and it sure as hell won't help us now. This state of mine is 7.9% unemployed, and climbing, the worse in 26 years. I just turned 59, and thankful I'm not 29, or 19. Every state is hurting, and standing with their hand out for Uncle Sam. You best get ready for more higher taxes, and new taxes on any damn thing they can come up with. Gas is low, but mark my word, by spring or summer it'll be high again, and each state will be in debt so they will add more state tax on heir gas. Our elected officials are gone to Washington, and with their high hopes of repairing our economy, but they to will become as the older ones who also had the same idea. They have their glory now, and a hell of a high salary, so we will be forgotten as always. It's a joke seeing Clinton, and Obama hugging, when a few months ago they wanted to throw rocks at each other. Wake up America, can't you see this damn three ring circus? Biden bad mouthed Obama, and now his vise president, and with hand shakes, and hugs. I'm so sick of the Washington blue bloods, and the way they think of us normal folks. We are their serfs, just as the middle ages. Throw them a bone, and let them fade away. Our once great country is now falling into a third world country, and then we will soon become a socialist state. Our government will control every aspect, just as Russia does now. It is too damn late for stopping the buy outs, it is set in stone, and the Washington monster machine is about to become even bigger as soon as our new president takes control. I wish I had the answer for this nightmare, but I don't. I will survive just as my ancestors did, and yes we will survive, but without the confort we once had. Stay well, be safe, and hang tough.

DECEPTION, RECESSION, DEPRESSION
The circus has left the town, and now the stage is set, and the exit doors are locked. A new President, and now the world is celebrating the 'Messiah' the liberator of the world! I cannot believe that America has taken a new turn in our long road of being the best on earth, and now you can sit back, and watch Act 1. Soon the curtain will be raised, and this new leader will show his true colors. I hope in time you'll finally see the new one, and see what is truly in his mind for America. The party is still going, but back behind the curtain are the men who will re-shape this Great country, and will spread the wealth. America was built on people who worked their ass's off, and who never stood in line for a hand out, well now what you have worked hard for will be taken, and given out! Your 401K is history, along with so much more. I am glad I am 59, not 29, and the young will pay dearly for years to come. Iran, and the wack jobs of the world are smiling now, and they are planning to come at us again. Our foot hold in the Middle East will soon be gone, and we will again be looking toward the sky for incoming. I'm worn out, and disgusted, and fear hell is coming like a great wall of water in a boxed in canyon, and America is trapped. So enjoy the play, and I'll be waiting outside along with so many true Americans with our firearms to protect the ones inside!
